Who You Are
You are a FinTech professional that focuses on merchant services and risk mitigation with an eye for detail. You have experience in merchant underwriting and are passionate about finding creative methods for limiting the risk exposure of an organization. You excel at communication, problem-solving and are comfortable working directly with merchants and the sales team. You are personable and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can work autonomously and move the needle for a growing business unit.

What You'll Do

  • Work directly with the NaluPay Sales team and Sales Operations team to underwrite and onboard new merchants, contractors, and providers to the NaluPay platform
  • Identify business risks and opportunities and create strategic or tactical recommendations using data-driven analysis
  • Work directly with the merchant risk team to mitigate merchant risk to the organization
  • Evaluate credit bureau and other data sources to optimize underwriting/acquisition criteria
  • Provide valuable insights using data-driven analytics to help identify and resolve issues relating to merchant and partner risk
  • Review KPIs and performance metrics to determine overall merchant performance
  • Perform risk assessments including analyzing current merchant risks and identifying potential risks
  • Work with cross-functional teams to achieve desired corporate/departmental/team goals, building consensus, agreement, and a common vision for the future

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in operations and risk management at a financial services firm
  • Experience working with financial products and understanding quantitative risk management
  • Ability to work effectively with disparate teams and stakeholders, including merchants, sponsors, and external partners
  • Ability to read and understand financial documents
  • Thrive on energy, passion and the desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Applications efficiently
