The ideal Marketplace Business Operations Manager, Partner Success will help to identify, develop, and implement the operational processes necessary for driving seller efficiency for the enterprise business within the Poshmark eco-system. They will leverage different technical tools and processes to:

  • Properly onboard enterprise sellers on Poshmark
  • Optimize enterprise seller efficiency and overall performance

You are a strong leader who is analytical and data-driven, can prioritize well, communicate clearly and compellingly, and who understands how to drive a high level of focus. This role presents a significant intellectual, technical, and operational opportunity with enormous business ownership. 

Responsibilities:

Partner Onboarding

  • Own all operational integrations for enterprise partners on Poshmark - determine the appropriate strategy, facilitate onboarding processes, manage integration of all third-party solutions, respond to partner pain points, etc.  
  • Codify a series of standard operating procedures that constitute the Poshmark Enterprise Partner onboarding program.  
  • Ensure continuity and functionality of service, while leading rigorous process improvement efforts

Partner Optimization: 

  • Develop process and technical-oriented solutions for improving enterprise partner selling and fulfillment on Poshmark, based on identified partner challenges.  
  • Identify and monitor operational KPI targets to improve enterprise seller efficiency and performance. 
    • Run the day-to-day performance for each partner, moving fast to course correct
  • Relationship Management: 
    • Serve as Poshmark’s relationship manager with third-party solution partners (3PL aggregators like DSCO, ChannelAdvisor, ecommerce functions like eDesk, etc.)  
  • Business Operations Strategy
    • Help define a technological and programmatic roadmap for driving enterprise partner efficiency on the platform
    • Identify opportunities and prioritize the product roadmap in order to build systems and technology that can support and scale across enterprise seller segments
    • Research and communicate industry benchmarks and identify white space opportunities 

6-Month Accomplishments: 

  • Design and codify turnkey onboarding processes for a range of core back-end fulfillment / operational solutions – to become truly ‘plug and play’ for large enterprise partners 
  • Help lead onboarding and integration with enterprise partners onto Poshmark 
  • Begin design – in collaboration with product and engineering teams – for solutions that address seller operational pain points
  • Establish a reporting process for relevant operational KPIs

12+ Month Accomplishments: 

  • Identification and integration of technological and programmatic partnerships (e.g., third-party integrations) to help improve enterprise seller pain points and drive performance 
  • Fully established operational reporting processes for internal and external stakeholders 

Requirements: 

    • At least 3+ years experience managing eCommerce operations for an entrepreneurial retail / consumer business - with strong preference for marketplace experience - or directly at a marketplace (working in a similar integration capacity) or a marketplace solutions provider
    • Working knowledge of industry players, operational benchmarks, and trending solutions in the eCommerce and specifically, online marketplace space - experience working with DSCO, ChannelAdvisor, or related players is a strong plus!
    • Appetite for building up an Operations function within a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment; comfort working in unstructured business requiring nimble thinking and creative solutions
    • Ability to maintain strong external relationships with key vendors and enterprise partners
