Kroll US Restructuring practice represents both debtors and creditors in matters requiring customized, high quality analysis and insights. Kroll distinguishes itself in matters of particularly complexity, involving a breach of trust or requiring international reach or deep industry insight.

Our Restructuring team leverages the full capabilities of Kroll global platform, including our industry-leading valuation and opinions practices, our expert witness and investigations practices and our transaction advisory services. Dedicated industry verticals in banking and valuation provide invaluable insights typically only seen in bulge bracket firms.

The US Restructuring practice has recently been constituted as a devoted team led by four MDs each with 20+ years of experience in the industry. Kroll global restructuring practice boasts over 400 professionals in approximately 15 jurisdictions. The firm is committed to growing the US practice to an industry leader and the successful candidate will be on the ground floor of that growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and service client opportunities
  • Serve as Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO), interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for companies experiencing financial distress
  • Oversee client and consultant staff
  • Negotiate restructuring plans and oversee implementation
  • Oversee development of financial reporting
  • Evaluate companies' financial position and advise on appropriate value-maximizing strategies
  • Ensure quality of client deliverables by having a strong attention to detail
  • Mentor and develop staff - Vice Presidents and Directors


Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years distressed situation management, interim management or restructuring financial advisory experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or an MBA or CFA
  • Strong business development skills and history of successful fee generation for restructuring situations
  • Well-established relationships in the distressed investing and restructuring advisory community
  • Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and projects
  • Reputation for integrity and leadership
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance and expertise within the field of restructuring
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that helps represent diverse communities
  • Experience working with diverse teams
