About the job

This position will own delivering a world-class application/systems experience for fast scaling agile organizations. You will collaborate with departments and business units to understand organizational process and workflow needs, and deliver solutions to fulfill those needs. As the manager of the Zuora Admin team, you will be critical in building/hiring and guiding the department to partner with multiple cross-functional groups.

Additionally, this team is responsible for developing end to end workflow solutions by partnering with the Accounting and Product teams. This role is expected to contribute in transforming the company's financial systems efficiency that will support the company’s growth.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Lead in all aspects of Zuora/Revenue systems enablement  - strategy formation, developing business cases, application maintenance and support and application integrations.  
  • Build, mentor, and coach a high-functioning global team.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with business partners to understand business processes, process flows, business needs and analyze pain points, and identify viable solutions.
  • Perform and support SOX audit reporting and remediation steps and continuously improve system performance to reduce SOX findings. 
  • Lead Zuora M&A integration projects to scale and meet Twilio's business needs including integrations between Zuora billing, Salesforce.com, Avalara Tax, Oracle ERP and Data Warehouse systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the business process on the Zuora platform.
  • Provide day-to-day end user support of Zuora functions to all levels of the organization.

Required:

  • To comply with Executive Order 14042, all Twilio employees working in the U.S. are required to submit proof of vaccination for COVID-19 unless they qualify for a medical or religious accommodation / exemption.  Employees onboarded after January 4, 2022 must submit proof of vaccination or receive approval for an exemption prior to their Twilio start date. 
  • 5+ years of people management experience with the ability to set direction and provide leadership for high-functioning global teams.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Manager overseeing IT systems and administration with proficiency in Zuora administration and development activities which include configuring and managing settings for Zuora Platform, Billing, Payments, and Finance. 
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, critical thinking and project management skills. 
  • Have the technical ability to understand software and recognize areas of product integration, discuss product roadmaps, and engage with departments such as Accounting, Procurement, Treasury, etc
  • Fluency in performing rigorous system analysis, design and administration of Financial systems.
  • Ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans.
  • Proven ability to partner with internal business stakeholders, IT resources, and third party software providers.
  • Experience providing product direction to meet customer needs.

Desired:

  • Experience with the following systems is a plus; Oracle, Coupa, Expensify, Anaplan, ServiceNow,  Workday, Salesforce.com, OKTA, GSuite, Looker.
  • Experience with acquisitions combining Billings and Revenue platforms is a plus
  • Strong preference for someone with prior experience in Finance, software product management and systems integrations.
  • Highly entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance - be an owner.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. .

Location 

This role will be remote based in the US.

Approximately 10% travel is anticipated.

Colorado applicants: 

  • The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is $96,096 - $151,008

  • Non-Sales: Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
