TRANSACTION MANAGER - PORTFOLIO ACQUISITIONS
Position reports to EVP, Brokerage
Remote – Austin preferred
The Transaction Manager is responsible for managing acquisitions of portfolios of single-family homes for the Portfolio Acquisition group from contract to completion of due diligence
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Preparation of contracts and coordination of signatures
- Upload contract and any amendments into system of record
- Coordination with Treasury to request earnest money deposits
- Track refunds of earnest money deposits for terminated transactions
- Coordination of due diligence, including collection and review of disclosures, rent rolls, leases, maintenance records, lease registration licenses
- Upload leases into [TBD]
- Communicate with leasing and operations to onboard residents
- Collaborate with closings team to ensure transactions close on time
- Review settlement statement line items to confirm accuracy of terms and prorations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
College degree
Real estate license a plus
SKILLS/SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Knowledge of the complete lifecycle of a residential real estate transaction
- 5+ years of experience with an institutional investment group
- Familiar with state specific real estate association purchase contracts
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
