What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Vice President of Procurement, the Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies aligned with functional leaders and category plans across Indirect Sourcing. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities that focus on total cost of ownership savings from Suppliers; managing supplier negotiations/contracts to mitigate risk and optimize opportunities; and measuring supplier performance and addressing shortfalls.
- Identify category projects and analyze spend patterns to identify total cost savings and working capital opportunities.
- Develop procurement strategies that deliver value aligned with business objectives.
- Prepare and execute RFQs, analyze results, and make supplier recommendations to Category and Sourcing leadership.
- In partnership with Category Managers, manage supplier contract negotiations and contract maintenance.
- Manage product transitions and launch including supplier and product qualification.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance through use of Supplier Scorecards.
- Drive regular review cadence with suppliers and develop corrective action plans as required.
- Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation as well as risk mitigation in our supplier portfolio.
- Any other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
- You have a minimum of 2+ years experience in sourcing, indirect procurement, category and project management
- You have obtained a Bachelor's degree in related field
