The Manager, SME Trading is responsible for overseeing the trading process and the team members on the Trading Team for Orion.

This position is responsible for the development and performance of team members, the processes used by them, and holds the team members accountable for their work.

Job Duties Include:
  • Reviews team members work to ensure problems and questions are handled quickly and efficiently
  • Reviews and oversees any Salesforce items that need immediate attention, help team members when necessary, and make sure they are getting done on time.
  • Provides training to Orion team members as well as clients when an issue requires
  • Manages employees within department including but not limited to hiring, training and developing employees, delegating work assignments, writing and conducting performance appraisals, salary recommendations, coaching and counseling, and administering corrective actions.
  • Works with service teams to ensure processes are followed and function correctly.
  • Works with OAS clients on defining and implementing processes.
  • Contributes to evaluation, implementation and management of electronic trading platform and assists with projects related to trading system version upgrades.
  • Collaborates with programming team in setting prioritization on quarterly build delivery schedules.
  • Conducts and participates in quarterly trading system evaluations, including creation of regression test plans (current / future state analysis) for new functionality, and makes recommendation of final solutions; performs quality assurance testing of automated solutions and newly developed workflows and other assignments as necessary.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field required.
  • Orion Industry Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
  • 5 years of customer services-related or multiple operations team experience required with at least 1 year of experience with OAS required.
  • 1 year of management/leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience working within financial services industry preferred
