The Manager of our Salesforce Team is a "working manager" role that is responsible for leading our team of Salesforce admins and developers. In addition to the day-to-day team management, this role will also manage workload and escalations. The successful candidate will work with the company leadership to help shape and grow both the Salesforce Team and the company.


Lead and support junior and skilled team of Salesforce developers and admins, focusing on effective training, coaching, and development of both technical skillset, customer service, judgment, and understanding of more complex operations and downstream processes/impacts. Successful candidates in this role will have the following experience:
  • Act as a liaison and first-stop escalation point for the team.
  • Proactively identify, initiate, resource, and execute on opportunities to improve processes, systems/tools functionality, and knowledge management for optimal service delivery.
  • Ensure quality, consistency, and accuracy when responding to employee inquiries and needs.
  • Assure compliance with all employment/labor laws through programs, practices, policies, training, and actions.

  • Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Demonstrate experience in a highly customized environment - administering and customizing Salesforce Platform essential; workflows, automation, visualforce, apex, lightning components and integration
  • Ability to troubleshoot production incidents in complex, multi-application environments
  • Ability to leverage cloud environments, both IaaS, and PaaS as well as open source tools
  • Ability to establish a data-driven culture and a repeatable, structured and disciplined approach to the full systems lifecycle

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • 3 + years demonstrated history of success as a technical people leader/manager, ideally with managing a team of developers
  • 5+ years experience delivering Salesforce solutions in an agile software organization
  • Experience in Continuous Integration (GitHub, Jenkins, etc) is highly desired
  • Strong team leadership, employee performance management
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, and Google Workspace
  • Must have demonstrated ability to work with latest technology and manage a technical team of highly qualified people
  • Excellent communication skills and passion for enhancing overall team and individual performance.
