Role Description

We are looking for a multifaceted professional to support our Strategic Sourcing team for Corporate and Professional Services. The Successful candidate will lead key commodities including Business Consulting, Security Consulting, Business Process Outsourcing and many more. This person will also be responsible for collaborating with other commodity leads across other categories and regions.

Your Impact

  • Support the development and execution of sourcing strategies related to the category spend areas, including analyzing spend data, market intelligence, formulate strategies to optimize and rationalize spend, recommend and drive the RFx process, negotiate contract terms with suppliers, manage any required transition, as well as the contract lifecycle, support strategic business reviews and other SRM (supplier relationship mgmt.) activities.
  • Establishing and growing relationships with key Salesforce partners across the region, including legal teams, finance and accounting, risk management.
  • Influencing strategies and decisions and leading sophisticated, highly visible negotiations with strategic and key suppliers including the establishment of service levels, key performance indicators, prices and terms to mitigate risk and increase savings.
  • Handling all engagements and relationships with major suppliers that support Salesforce and the Corporate and Professional Services team.
  • Drive quarterly business reviews with key suppliers, in collaboration with key business partners and ensure supplier's frequent reporting on metrics
  • Develop category strategies, complete category analysis, identify and drive market intelligence insights into action.

Technical Skills

  • Category Management: Expertise in category management strategies and approach to support the objectives of the business.
  • Corporate and Professional Services Knowledge: Sophisticated knowledge of procurement processes related to consulting services, SOW, and RFx management. Skilled in using financial models, industry knowledge, and the client's business requirements to develop and implement optimized business solutions.
  • Data and Analytics: Able to use data and apply robust analytics to model various business scenarios and analyze resulting cost, impact, risks, and benefits to advise and recommend business solutions.
  • Standard Methodologies: Knowledge of Professional Services initiatives, Strategic Sourcing and business objectives to guide thought leadership and ensure effective sourcing strategies including the ability to recognize value creation opportunities within and across business units.
  • Understanding of Competitive Environment: Knowledge of industry operations, products, services, and environment. Ability to collect valuable information, gather competitive intelligence information, and promote sharing across appropriate organizations.
  • In depth knowledge of the sourcing process and competitive bidding process: working with clients, analyzing responses, developing selection criteria, and choosing appropriate suppliers (RFx).
  • Contracts and Agreements: Knowledge of contract terms, applications, and legal requirements, including the ability to manage performance to contracts and agreements.
  • Ability to explain, at a high level, the legal implications of a contract agreement. Ability to lead the process of completing and compiling agreements.
  • Ability to insert contract language that operationalizes business relationships with suppliers in order to protect our interests and withstand legal challenges.
  • Supplier Performance Management: Knowledge of supplier capabilities and performance to help select, improve and manage relationships. Ability to measure supplier performance to expectation and recommend opportunities for improvement.


Position Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Procurement/Strategic Sourcing with a focus on Corporate and Professional Services
  • Polished negotiation skills & supplier management, segmentation and strategic sourcing practices
  • Analytical skills managing and discerning data, making executive level presentations & formulating strategies
  • Able to multitask and skilled time manager that is able to work under minimal direction in a fast paced environment
  • Comfortable making presentations at Executive Level and establishing relationships with a broad range of internal and external partners such as business customers, legal, suppliers, etc.
