Company Overview:

Cohere Health is illuminating healthcare for patients, their doctors, and all those who are important in a patient’s healthcare experience, both in and out of the doctors office.  Founded in August, 2019, we are obsessed with eliminating wasteful friction patients and doctors experience in areas that have nothing to do with health and treatment, particularly for diagnoses that require expensive procedures or medications.  To that end, we build software that is expressly designed to ensure the appropriate plan of care is understood and expeditiously approved, so that patients and doctors can focus on health, rather than payment or administrative hassles.

Opportunity Overview:

This is a great opportunity for an outstanding analyst to join a Series B digital health company as part of the Clinical Content team. You will work closely with clinical and analytics leadership, subject matter experts, product, and engineering to support decision-making for a wide range of strategic, product, and clinical problems. The work will be fast-paced and project-based, with evolving needs - requiring adaptability, curiosity, and grace under pressure. Your work will  support the expression of clinical policies, programs, and guidelines as rules that power our products and services.

What you’ll do:

  • Supervise and develop the rules team team members
  • Lead process development and continuous improvement of content development
  • Proactively identify areas of risk and implement solutions to mitigate issues
  • Work cross functionally to operationalize content development and deployment of guidelines, assessments, and rules within the platform
  • Develop processes and determine tools and resources required to successfully develop and launch new content initiatives
  • Oversee internal process improvement initiatives for Rules team communication, tools, and systems
  • Participate in cross functional work with Product and Engineering on internal tool development and improvement from a process and scalability perspective
  • Measure team performance including efficiency, effectiveness, and resource gaps

Your background & requirements:

Required Experience:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in healthcare technology, insurance, or medical field
  • 3-5+ years experience developing and managing teams
  • Proven track record of leading successful teams in fast paced environments
  • Experience hiring quality staff members
  • Detail oriented, intellectually curious, creative thinker and problem solver
  • Proactively anticipates problems, mitigates risks and seeks solutions, recognizing when to escalate
  • Demonstrates core values of humility, collaboration, and respect
  • Demonstrates accountability and sets expectations clearly
  • Distills high level strategy and vision into tactical execution
  • Highly organized “doer” who can manage their own workload, operate well in an agile environment and balance multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Medical necessity data changes quickly; adaptable knowledge is a must
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM, public health, finance, economics, or other related field

Nice to have Experience:

  • Prior experience in HealthCare IT market
  • Strongly proficient in G suite applications
  • Proficient in Atlassian Jira & Confluence
  • Experience in healthcare code sets: SNOMED, ICD-10, HCPCS/CPT, etc.

We can’t wait to learn more about you and meet you at Cohere Health!
