Job Description

Brightspeed is looking for a driven, creative and energetic Manager, Pricing and Offer Management (Enterprise & Wholesale) leader to join our team! As Manager, Pricing and Offer Management, you will report directly to the Head of Business Operations. You will lead a team responsible for various business functions such as sales opportunity review, strategy development, profitability analysis, contract negotiation, and telecom service. Your position will require experience and knowledge of contract negotiations, contract language creation, project management, custom offer construction, sales processes, along with team leadership and coaching. Ideal candidate is detail oriented, a skilled negotiator, excellent communicator, a strong coach and leader, and has the desire to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment in support of the sales cycle.

As Manager, Pricing and Offer Management (Enterprise & Wholesale) you will have the following duties:

  • Manage and lead a small team of professionals; oversee the pricing and offer management programs for the Enterprise and Wholesale Organization
  • Review financial data as related to various requests for special pricing and identifies risks associated with legal terms, product descriptions, and price concessions
  • Maintain records supporting all business cases
  • Use keen business judgment and financial knowledge to defend and debate recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and government regulations
  • Key Working Relationships with Direct Sales, Senior Executives, Legal, Product Management, Regulatory, Billing, and Network Engineering
  • Support multiple sales teams with special pricing requests and negotiates large contracts with customers
  • Provide sales teams with guidance on pricing, pricing structure and strategy
  • Provide support to the legal group on terms & conditions in custom contracts.
  • Assist back-office personnel in resolving implementation issues, billing issues, and technical issues
  • Ensure team productivity is meeting targets and be accountable for results



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ year’s professional work experience
  • Prior management experience is desired
  • Experience in customer negotiations, business development, pricing and contract drafting or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal, written, project management and presentation skills
  • Ability to summarize key issues to management
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Computer skills: strong skills on Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with sales personnel and customers in person and on conference calls
  • Knowledge of the competitive Telecommunications and Hosting/IT Outsourcing industry
