What will you do?

You will support the IT portion of the company's global change and communications efforts related to M&A initiatives. You will play a meaningful role in implementing customized multi-channel communication strategies, running a central IT M&A communications resource center, and ensuring message consistency and alignment across projects. You will partner closely with the IT M&A team and the Integration Management Office to support and influence change and communications strategies. You will also develop relationships with key IT subject matter authorities, providing counsel and implementing plans to further business goals.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, IT Shared Services Change Management & Communications, and with dotted line reporting to the M&A Business Transformation Communications leader, the ideal candidate is well rounded in all change and communication methods and in leading multiple projects simultaneously.

  • In partnership with technical subject matter authorities, lead IT M&A change management and communications initiatives
  • Run IT M&A comms resource center on company intranet, ensuring it is kept updated
  • Write, edit and deliver content for M&A initiatives, following corporate brand standards
  • Translate technical instructions into clear, concise messages that are easily understood by colleagues
  • Lead measurement systems to gauge communications effectiveness and adapt plans and tactics as needed
  • Act as a communications advisor, partner and mentor to the M&A technology leadership team to help them meet their integration goals
  • Use the Global IT Change Management Framework to lead change efforts. Ex: stakeholder analysis, change strategy, communications plan, engagement, training plan, champions, launch readiness, etc.
  • Lead project managers, sponsors, and SMEs through planning, enabling, and reinforcing change for end users.



How you will get there?

  • Minimum 6-8 years dynamic experience in corporate or employee communications, public relations or marketing with experience planning and implementing internal communications programs and initiatives.
  • Undergraduate degree in communications, public relations, journalism, English, creative writing, liberal arts or similar subject area.
  • Experience working within or partnering with an IT department and/or supporting M&A and integration related change communications.
  • Expert writer, editor and communicator.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and MS Office skills.
  • Familiarity with basic design and design concepts.
  • Experience with intranet content development platforms (MS Modern SharePoint Experience) and internal social media platforms (Yammer)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and highly matrixed organization.
  • Ability to influence and facilitate collaboration and alignment between subject matter authorities
  • Experience crafting and implementing organizational and IT change management strategies (familiarity with change management methodologies a plus.)
  • Knowledge and understanding of emerging communication trends and ability to use them in practical business applications
  • Collaborative, strong teammate; high-energy, self-directed and goal-oriented
  • Ability to travel internationally and domestically, as needed.
  • Sense of humor, resourceful, flexible, resilient, technology savvy and high comfort level with change.
