The Technology Alliances team at Fivetran is expanding its investment in Field Alliances and in doing so, we are looking to hire a leader to help scale the Tech Field Alliances function at Fivetran.

Technology Field Alliances is responsible for the joint sales and opportunity plays ( with our strategic technology partners (Snowflake, GCP, AWS, Azure, Databricks) and creates continuity, alignment and motion for both Fivetran sellers and our partner sellers.  Field Alliances keeps the sales motion going by helping our sales team find and work with their sales peers (AEs and SEs) at our strategic partners. This team owns:

  • Identify opportunities where we can engage & plan co-sell engagements between Fivetran reps and partner sales reps
  • Registering deals to partners
  • Field enablement (internal and to partners)
  • Executing account and rep mapping at scale
  • Helping our sales team navigate marketplace transactions

The Manager of our Technology Field Alliances team will help scale this function in 2022 and beyond. This is a leadership role, and you will scale the team from 3 people to 5 people in North America. Your main internal stakeholders will be the Strategic Technology Partner Managers for Snowflake, GCP, AWS, Azure, Databricks and our North American sales leaders (RVPs and Directors) for our Commercial and Enterprise sales teams. You will manage the team that ensures that our sales team is working with our most strategic partners and growing the number of mutual customers. 

As a Manager of our Technology Field Alliances at Fivetran:

  • You will manage a team of Technology Field Alliances Managers in North America and scale the team
  • Your team will manage the day to day tactical co-selling relationship for our core strategic tech partners, like Snowflake, Google, and Azure
  • You will coach the team and empower them to drive strategic and creative co-selling initiatives while focusing on delivering quarterly KPIs (partner influence on deals, deal registrations to partners, referrals generated from partners)
  • Your team will identify opportunities where we can engage & plan co-sell engagements between Fivetran reps and partner sales reps
  • Your team will connect the dots between Fivetran sales and our partner sales teams to ensure the Fivetran sales team is solution selling with our partners and delivering an awesome customer experience 
  • You will work with the sales leaders every quarter to identify the objectives your team will help execute in the next 90 days - things like in market partner meet ups

  • You are extremely organized. You are able to juggle lots of things at once while not letting anything drop
  • You are a strategic thinker. You are able to see and communicate the big picture in an inspiring way. You need to be 3 steps ahead of everyone else
  • You are enthusiastic. You exhibit passion and excitement over work and you have a can-do attitude
  • Previous experience with Cloud Service Providers and or SaaS B2B Technologies is a plus, but not required
