Role Description

Executive Recruiting is a team within our Global Talent Acquisition Organization that handles Director level and above requisitions for all functions and regions. Reporting to our Global Head of Executive Recruiting, you will be responsible for the Executive/Leadership Sourcing function. This is a player/coach opportunity, both managing a small but mighty team, while also holding our most senior and technical reqs. In addition, we are looking for a strategic leader to help optimize our CRM, develop and manage towards OKR’s, establish a framework for executive research/market mapping and to develop an unmatched experience to our candidates and hiring managers.

This is a unique opportunity for you to flex your expertise in the identification and engagement of top-notch executive-level talent to help build and shape in-house executive recruiting capabilities for a fast-growing tech company.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute talent engagement strategies for Director and VP-level roles across Technical (Engineering, Product Management, and Design) and Non-Technical organizations
  • Build out a robust candidate engagement strategy for executive level talent in our database
  • Optimize and streamline how we use our CRM (Gem) and ATS (Greenhouse) 
  • Manage a team of 2 Executive Sourcers 
  • Set and track against a built out list of OKR’s, KPI’s and SLA’s 
  • Partner with Executive Recruiters to conduct launch meetings, create robust job and candidate specifications, and qualify and present leadership candidates.
  • Research, identify, and develop relationships with prospective leadership candidates for active searches through targeted company research, passive outreach, industry networking, and internal sources.
  • Strategically build and maintain a network of passive potential future candidates.
  • Deliver qualified diverse pipelines for active roles, as well as actively network and establish strong relationships with diverse candidates and organizations.
  • Analyze effectiveness of efforts through data analysis and reporting including search progress reports, status reports, and market trend/feedback reports for presentation to Senior Executives.
  • Partner across a variety of functions to create relevant, compelling, personalized and high-touch candidate/hiring manager experiences that align with Dropbox’s values and mission.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of sourcing and/or recruiting experience within an executive search firm or in-house corporate environment. 2+ years of people management experience.
  • Proven experience identifying and engaging passive VP level technical candidates.
  • Experience using talent and market insights and data to influence executive-level audiences.
  • Outstanding teamwork and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to thrive and prioritize in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to understand & interpret complex business needs and business structures. Knowledge of core functions of engineering, product and design organization.
