The Manager for Delivery Partner Payments and Incentives will join as a key member of our delivery operations management team and help build and manage our Payments Team for day to day and future success. Delivery Partners are a crucial piece of Gopuff's story and play an extremely valuable role as our key connection point to the end customer. Delivery Partners deliver the magical experience that is Gopuff to customers across the US and our team is proud to build the operations, process, technology, support and overall infrastructure that allows them to be successful. You will lead a centralized team that focuses on ensuring Delivery Partners are paid accurately, on time, and that all pay questions or issues are responded to and meet agreed upon SLA's.
As the Manager for Delivery Partner Payments, you will report to the Senior Manager of Delivery Partner Experience and manage your entire team in your vertical, Delivery Partner Payments. You and your team will be responsible for managing the payroll process for thousands of Delivery Partners that choose to work on our platform. You will help build and lead a team of Leads and Specialists, with backgrounds in operations, driver operations, and payroll management so that we can successfully implement programs and initiatives that create the best in the world delivery partner experience, and ensure we meet our pay SLA's. You will work closely with our Finance, People, and Legal Teams to build tools and processes that are focused on improving the delivery partner pay experience. You should always be thinking about processes and tools that streamline our pay experience for your team and our delivery partners.
Together we will build a best in the world delivery network that can support Gopuff's rapid geographic expansion as the industry leader in instant everyday needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years people management experience. Ability to assist in hiring, developing and building a high performance team. Experience managing people is needed for this role.
• Able to proactively recognize problems with your team and help find the best outcome.
• Excellent problem solving skills. Ability to think outside the box, and advocate for improvements. Be willing to try new things and learn from failures.
• Comfortable using and creating data to solve problems or kick off initiatives.
• People motivator that also focuses on team member development.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross functionally across various business teams to define and achieve success together.
• Strong presentation skills, with the ability to create team and cross functional buy in.
• Willing to learn on the fly and use the learning for personal and team development.
