The Manager, Cybersecurity Risk Management has responsibility for policy and regulatory compliance. Assists the Associate Director, Cybersecurity Risk Management, with oversite of security controls mapping (process identification / documentation / evidence collection), identifying policy and regulatory compliance gaps and engaging stakeholders to close them. Responsible for managing enterprise system security plans and reviews network and application system security plans in automated compliance applications. Responsible for coordinating cybersecurity engagements with internal/external audit teams. Supervises Collins policy Exceptions & Deviations and conducts Third Party / Supply Chain Risk reviews. Lead for Cyber Training and Awareness Program.

This individual can sit at any Collins Aerospace domestic location or remote.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages the development of and implementation of the cyber risk management program that includes risk management process workflows, process documentation and align those activities to the enterprise risk management approach.
  • Provides analysis and identification of IT infrastructure risks and the development of improvement plans to mitigate risk of cyber threats and non-compliance.
  • Manages enterprise network system security plans to ensure they are accurate and current
  • Provides cyber risk support to external compliance activities and engagement with legal, regulatory, and government agencies regarding organization IT security issues.
  • Tracks and ensures the timely documentation and risk assessment of DT policy exceptions
  • Performs control assessments against relevant regulatory frameworks and other internal compliance reviews for internal and external customers/suppliers.
  • Manages cyber training and awareness to educate employees about the threats and the steps to take to secure the business.
  • Performs third party risk assessments including data categorization and security control reviews


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
  • Experience with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other associated regulatory frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)
  • Must be willing and able to travel 25% of the time
  • Must be a U.S. citizen


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with/for US DOD, commercial airlines and aerospace OEMs
  • Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one work area.
  • Typically has broad knowledge and skills within cyber security risk management with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
