Cardinal Health's Pharma Commercial Excellence is a new organization designed to improve sales teams focus and effectiveness by leveraging scale, process improvement, clarity of accountability and speed to support and service the internal sales teams and external customers.

This position is part of our Customer Onboarding & Compliance pillar within CommEx. This pillar creates a seamless, efficient, and accurate process that enhances a customer's first experiences and ensures accurate execution of our contractual requirements. This team provides value by having subject matter expertise across all components of the customer experience such as inventory, operations, finance, contract maintenance. They act as the single point of contact for end-to-end visibility of the customer onboard and maintenance processes.

What Implementation Management contributes to Cardinal Health:

The Manager, Implementations - Specialty, is a critical role for the success of supporting our Specialty sales organizations and ensuring best in class services related to our Customer Onboarding and Implementations processes for our Cardinal Health customers. Working across the entire Cardinal Health pharmaceutical segment, the leader in this role will design and deploy a robust implementation and onboarding process for our Specialty customers.

The Manager, Implementations will report to the Vice President, Commercial Insights & Customer Experience, Pharma Segment. Due to the nature of the role, this is a hybrid flex (office and remote mix) position.

Accountabilities:

  • Support the Specialty Physician Office customer implementation process to provide a timely and accurate onboarding process
  • Oversee the day to day monitoring of the implementation process & improve processes to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Lead a future state team responsible for implementation within this customer base
  • Responsible for planning, organizing and leading solution implementations
  • Manage project plans, resources, and commitments to the customer
  • Monitor and track the progress of implementations
  • Partner with sales and the customer early in the process to develop implementation project plans
  • Work across teams and management develop consistent methodologies based on best practices for efficiently implementing solutions
  • Provide status reports on implementation processes, updates, etc. and present to Sr. Leaders
  • May be involved in budgeting and financial requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 yrs work experience, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Customer implementation or onboarding experience needed
  • Experience in developing people and leading teams preferred
  • Specialty Physician Office experience/background highly preferred
  • Ability to lead/influence without direct reporting responsibility
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels, up to and including C-suite of Cardinal Health and customer organization
  • Influential leadership to affect change across groups where direct reporting lines do not exist
  • Strong business acumen, detail oriented and customer service skills
  • executive presence and customer engagement and presentation skills

  • Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals
  • Ensures employees operate within guidelines
  • Decisions have a short term impact on work processes, outcomes, and customers
  • Interacts with subordinates, peer customers and suppliers at various management levels may interact with senior management
  • Interactions normally involves resolution of issues related to operations and/or projects
  • Gains consensus from various parties involved
