Manager, Content Architecture
About the job
The Red Hat IT Document Management and Collaboration (DMC) team is looking for a Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will develop and manage enterprise-wide internal programs to promote effective content strategy. You'll lead a team of consultants and architects who ensure and maintain content excellence across the enterprise. As a Manager, you're expected to communicate regularly with stakeholders, management, and process owners regarding gaps in content capabilities, the status of ongoing efforts, and the overall success of our content strategy.
What you will do
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of our portfolio and support our customers by translating the capabilities of IT-owned platforms and services into solutions
- Assist the DMC team in articulating and proposing the best suitable project strategy to achieve our customer's business requirements
- Establish connections across different areas of the enterprise
- Enable our team to evolve into a mature solutions-oriented consulting operation incorporating multiple offerings
- Oversee and implement systems, policies, and processes to ensure standardization, optimization, and legal and fiduciary compliance
- Define consistent, simple, and scalable engagement processes across regions for efficient delivery of business solutions
- Understand business objectives, set high-level planning and prioritization, and ensure change management for consulting engagements and content initiatives
- Develop and iterate on a long-term strategic roadmap for our portfolio of services based on business needs and objectives
- Maintain and build relationships with business customers to understand their needs and objectives and relay delivery timeframes
- Enable and coach associates to develop and excel within their roles and beyond
What you will bring
- Demonstrated success in a global technical or business consulting role
- Proven success in developing and maintaining structured engagement projects and programs
- Solid leadership and management skills in motivating a global team and recruiting and developing team members
- Excellent presentation, communication, and documentation skills
- Background and interest in enterprise content management and content life cycle best practices
- Great business communication skills and insight, with the ability to maintain a professional attitude
- Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent technical training
