Flock Safety exists to eliminate crime from our communities. We believe that safety starts, not when you enter your home or even your property, but when you enter your community. We are stronger when we all work together and that's why Flock Safety developed technology specifically designed to help private citizens and local law enforcement work together to stop crime.

While safety is serious business, we still think there is some space for having fun. We call Atlanta home but are building a remote-first organization. And we are well funded by YCombinator, Matrix Partners, Bedrock Capital, Meritech, Anderessen Horowitz, and Tiger Global - and we're growing.

About the opportunity 

The residents of the entire city are our ultimate customers. Sometimes a neighborhood or a commercial business or a law enforcement agency pays for our technology, but we serve the entire community. Therefore, we need to properly educate the entire community on how safe, effective, and privacy-centric this technology is in each community.

Our technology is live in over 1700 cities, and we’ve tripled in size each of the last three years. That means there are tens of thousands of individual residents and city leaders who we need to help educate about how Flock Safety does / does not work, clear up any misconceptions about the technology, and prepare to answer questions that people may have about the technology. You will be measured on how successful you are at driving educational programs in communities around the country.

Some challenges you’ll tackle

• Prepare Chiefs of Police, Command Staff, and Public Information Officers on how to engage and educate their city and the community on why Flock Safety matters, how it works, and how we built privacy protections into our product design
• Host town hall meetings, community safety events, and community Q+As both live and online
• Prepare educational materials, including presentations, overview sheets, and talking points
• Build partnerships across the Flock Safety organization, including Sales, Enablement, Customer Success, and Marketing

About You

• 3-5 years of experience presenting directly to executives, law enforcement command staff, and / or city leaders
• You have strengths in both Command and Empathy
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time and work evenings and weekends, as required
• You will report to the VP of External Comms
