The Central Operations – Central Services team provides property support for utility services, violations, lien management, property registrations, and recurring services including lawn cuts, snow removal, pool servicing, and property cleans. This Manager, Central Operations position will have a specific focus on effectively running the Recurring Services area. This will include interacting with our branch employees, vendors, residents, and other departments across the company. The Manager, Central Operations should also have general knowledge of other property management functions including maintenance, construction, renovation, and leasing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To set and influence Main Street Renewal’s process, policies, and procedures with the appropriate parties as it relates areas supervised.
  • Proven ability to identify areas of improvement, gather the necessary data and reporting to support the inefficiency, develop a solution, present that solution, and implement the change across the department or company. Tools or skills utilized include developing process flow maps, strong reporting skills and excel skills, working collaboratively with others areas across the company, and strong presentation skills to gain buy-in from management, must also ensure that process change is sustainable.
  • To manage processes supervised as a whole resulting in a positive experience within Main Street Renewal as well as the residents and investors.
  • To provide the proper visibility and ensure the overall execution of the processes supervised is at or above standard across Main Street Renewal.
  • To determine, set, and report performance metrics for items relating to areas supervised.
  • To motivate the team toward the goals set, to be utilized by the team as a resource, and to address escalated matters as needed.
  • Manage a team virtually
  • To train team members as needed whether for new hire training or process related changes
  • To become specialized in the assigned areas provided and serve as a primary escalation point for those areas across the organization
  • To work closely with the Director, Central Operations on projects relating to Central Services or other projects as determined.
  • Other duties as needed or required

Supervision Received:

The Manager, Central Operations will be generally supervised and will report to the Director, Central Operations

Qualifications & Skills:

REQUIRED:

  • College Graduate
  • 3-5 years of in a supervisor role
  • Strong Reporting & Excel Skills - all reporting is performed in excel, must have knowledge to organize and accurately summarize large amounts of data to create the report request.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including (Word, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong written, verbal, customer service, and presentation skills. This might be one-on-one to a customer, feedback to employees, and/or presenting to branches, or management.
  • Project Management Experience
  • Leadership Skills: Be able to motivate employees, resolve team conflicts, and manage your team’s day to day and monthly responsibilities
  • Time Management Skills: Be able to effectively manage your day with the needs of your team as well as other supervisor and management requests while still meeting the metrics your team is held accountable to
  • Effectively manage a team virtually

PREFERRED:

  • Experience with Yardi
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience managing offshore employees
