What we are looking for

A Manager in the IT Support department who will understand the cross-functional needs of the business. They use that knowledge to support the business, in collaboration with the team they manage, in their use of the enterprise applications (such as Salesforce and NetSuite), working closer with the developers of the enterprise applications. The experienced candidate will also lead Support projects during periods of high-ticket volume because of project implementations.

What you will be doing
  • Manage a global team of Business Analysts and System Admins, evaluating and developing them.
  • Ensure that quality and service delivery standards are met.
  • Work closely with the IT Enterprise development team, submitting bugs to their backlog and assisting with their communication with the business
  • Collaborate with other organizations such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, etc, to improve support satisfaction objectives.
  • Collect and Analyze support center metrics to guide decisions about support operations.
  • Set Goals (KPI) and review team performance periodically.
  • Drive operational improvements.
  • Handle and drive escalations to resolution by providing status updates to stakeholders.
  • Lead Hypercare support projects being a communications hub between the business and system developers.
  • Interact with the System Developers in the context of system bugs and change requests from the business.
  • Support the rest of the IT team in their development of processes, reporting, documentation, and training.
What you need to be successful
  • 5+ years of experience working in technical support organizations.
  • Experience as a hands-on manager, recruiting and leading support teams.
  • Be a technically versed resource with excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience leading system support projects
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the business.
  • Ability to work and lead a team in a remote team setting.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Applications such as SAP, Salesforce, or NetSuite a plus.
  • Project management experience a plus.
  • Must have a high sense of ownership and a can-do attitude. Self-driven and a team player!
