The Manager of Best Execution is responsible for ensuring the firm delivers best execution on customer orders for all securities products offered.

Over the last year, PayPal has introduced a range of new products and features for our customers around the world, significantly expanding the functionality of the PayPal app and introducing new ways to use PayPal in more places, both digitally and in physical environments.In 2021, PayPal introduced the new PayPal app, an all-in-one, personalized app that provides PayPal customers with a single destination to easily and securely manage their daily financial lives and do more with their money. This included new features and services like high yield savings, early access to direct deposit funds, new and improved bill pay functionality, messaging capabilities enabling family and friend communications, as well as additional crypto capabilities, and customized deals and offers.

Your way to impact:
The Manager of Best Execution will establish procedures and routines for order routing decision making and execution performance analysis. The individual will work closely with data vendors and the clearing firm to establish exception reporting for analysis. Focus will be on data analysis and reporting to the best execution committee. Routine follow ups with the clearing firm and market centres will also be a key aspect of this role. Individual will remain abreast of industry trends and regulatory topics relating to best execution to ensure adherence to rules. The individual will work closely with Invest compliance to develop and maintain department procedures and books and records.

Your Day to Day:
Implement procedures and reviews to ensure the Firm is achieving best execution for customer orders. Order and execution data review and analysis with clearing firm to include daily and monthly exception reports - implement external data vendor tools as needed. Assemble, report and present data to the Best Execution Committee. Order routing decision support analysis including reviews of alternative markets; coordinate order routing changes when necessary. Maintain books and records for supervision and internal and external audits
