Manager, ACH Operations Manager
Enterprise Payments (EP) is an organization within Retail Bank that spans across Capital One and as such it supports numerous critical processes and transactions. By incubating innovative solutions and embracing technology, this team creates an unforgettable and unparalleled experience for our associates and clients.
The EP team manages all of the inbound and outbound payments for the Enterprise. Our work can range processing Wires to ACH to disbursements as well as transactions for our clients treasury products. The team is currently growing and searching for an operations manager within ACH operations.
As a People Manager within the Commercial Bank’s Payment Operations organization, you will be responsible for the daily leadership and oversight of the ACH File Processing team, manage projects and the well managed agenda. This team supports files of ACH transactions for various LOB's across Capital One Financial. You will focus on driving the achievement of individual, team and business metric goals. In addition, you will be responsible for proactive collaboration and partnership with key business stakeholders. In this role you will have the opportunity to develop strategies in a fast-paced environment.
Process Manager Responsibilities:
Gain working knowledge of your processes so that you can assist your team with resolving issues and represent your team to the Value chain
Actively manage initiatives related to your process
Ensure your process controls within your processes are being performed and monitored.
Drive a well managed process agenda:
Put in place metrics that answer this question each day
Monthly summary of how your process is doing from issue, metrics, initiatives
Process risk mitigation, monitoring and Controls
Maintaining all process mapping and documentation in a timely manner
Metrics/ SLA management and monitor for trends
Review issues for trending
Escalate and bring together necessary parties to resolve issues
People Manager Responsibilities:
Consistent and meaningful 10/10s with your associates at a minimum of twice a month
Team pull ups/meeting on a regular basis
Provide quarterly check ins with your associates

Candidates must live within 100 miles driving distance of the hub location based in Melville, NY.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification
At least 4 years of experience in Process Management
At least 1 year of experience in Banking Operations
At least 1 year of experience in Project Management
At least 2 years of experience in People Management
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or Military Experience
At least 8 years of experience in Process Management
At least 2 years of experience in Banking Operations
At least 2 years of experience in Project Management
At least 4 years of experience in People Management
