Where you fit in
Lift and Transport Partnersare responsible for performing and assisting with transportation throughout the hospital. They will provide patient care by initiatingpatient lifts and otherhandling maneuvers.
Your exceptional skills
- The Lift and Transport Partner is responsible for answering the phones in a professional and courteous manner
- Under the direction of the transportation supervisor, receives written and verbal requestfor transportation service
- Coordinates the flow requests fortransportation
- Initiates transports when indicated
- Follows up with patients to ensure that their expectationhasbeen met
Your exceptional qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Previous healthcare or general office experience preferred
- Ability to communicate well and effectively with patients and personnel
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Must be able to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 75 lbs
