Full-Time Employee Role & Responsibilities: Lyra offers an innovative video therapy program called Blended Care Therapy: blending live video sessions with between-session digital lessons and content.

  • As a DBT Blended Care Therapist you would:
  • Join a Comprehensive DBT Program offering all four modes of treatment: individual therapy, group skills training, consultation team for the therapists, and 24/7 available phone coaching provided by an internal team specially trained in DBT (provider does not need to be on call 24/7)
  • Provide individual and group evidence-based DBT treatment via live video to adult clients
  • Assign digital lessons, videos, and assessments to your clients between video-based sessions to enhance learning and monitor outcomes
  • Attend one-on-one and team clinical consultation meetings with an expert DBT team lead 
  • Attend ongoing training to enhance your clinical skills
  • Conduct peer-based quality assurance reviews to ensure high-quality outcomes in the program
  • Work full-time (40 hours per week)

Requirements:

  • 2-3+ years experience providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) therapy 
  • Background leading standardized DBT skills groups utilizing Linehan materials
  • Completion of advanced training in DBT and participated in a Comprehensive DBT Program (individual therapy, skills group, phone coaching, and consultation team)
  • Completion of treatment with clients through Stage I of DBT Treatment 
  • Training and deep understanding of DBT with prior experience on a DBT Team
  • Experience and skills working with clients who present with suicidal ideation and/or self-injury
  • Master’s degree from a clinical track (e.g., MSW, MFT, MC) or PhD/PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
  • Unrestricted license in California (ability to work independently, without supervision from a licensed supervisor) without current or pending disciplinary action
