Learning and Development Manager

About The Team:
The Learning & Development (L&D) team is part of our Talent, Leadership, Learning and Performance COE, and partners closely with the business to design and deliver training that has a real business impact.
As the L&D Manager, you will combine a deep, technical expertise in L&D, with the ability to manage strong stakeholder relationships at all levels.
What You'll Get to Do:

  • Partner with the business to shape North America's L&D strategy and implementation
  • Conduct an in-depth needs analysis to understand the gaps that need addressing
  • Work closely with HR, the Global Learning Team and the business to define and tailor learning and development solutions that will make a real difference
  • Build and implement an annual training agenda for the region
  • Organize, conduct, and evaluate internal training programs
  • Manage the L&D budget
  • Develop the business case to procure third-party vendors as required. Partner and manage vendors to deliver impactful programs
  • Craft reports, dashboards and surveys to capture meaningful learning insights to help drive organizational change
  • Track and advise on trainee development programs
  • Counsel and coach a small L&D team, helping them to grow energizing careers at Capco
  • Actively contribute to the Global Learning Team to solve organizational challenges


What You'll Bring with You:

  • Previous demonstrable success in a Learning and Development role, with experience in training design, development, delivery and facilitation
  • End-to-end program management experience
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to work within ambiguity
  • Ability to evaluate, prioritize, escalate and problem solve in high pressure situations
  • Ability to balance speed with accuracy
  • High attention to detail and execution excellence in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong technical skills: PowerPoint, Excel
  • Knowledge of the external best practice and learning technologies
  • Client-focused, proactive with a strong mind-set for continuous improvement
  • Outstanding interpersonal and coaching skills
  • Previous experience in coaching and managing a small team
