WSP is currently initiating a search for a Full-Time Lead Travel Demand Modeler for our Tempe office.
Your Impact

• Design, estimate and implement Advanced Travel Demand Models
• Deliver model results in written or oral format to clients and peer review panels
• Evaluate transportation policies and/or system alternatives by applying Travel Demand Models
• Implement and run models using TransCAD, Cube, Emme, Visum, Python, Java, etc.
• Summarize and visualize data and develop presentations using Tableau, R, PowerBI, QGIS, etc.
• Mentor, train and provide technical guidance to staff
• Participate in business and professional development activities that shine a light on WSP's expertise and skillsets.
• Build a portfolio of clients based on your technical expertise within a facet of Travel Modeling

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

• Bachlor's Degree or Higher in Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science
• 7 years' proven experience winning, managing and/or delivering travel demand modeling-related
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree is preferred.
