A pioneer in K-12 education since 2000, Amplify is leading the way in next-generation curriculum and assessment. Our captivating core and supplemental programs in ELA, math, and science engage all students in rigorous learning and inspire them to think deeply, creatively, and for themselves. Our formative assessment products turn data into practical instructional support to help students at every skill level build a strong foundation in early reading and math. Our programs provide teachers with powerful tools that help them understand and respond to the needs of all their students. Today, Amplify serves over eleven million students in all 50 states.
Amplify builds innovative and compelling digital educational products that empower teachers and students across the country. We have a long history as the leading innovator in K-12 education - and have been described as the best tech company in education and the best education company in tech.
Amplify works with educators and students across the country. We don't believe that our work is over the moment a teacher has a new curriculum program or software license. Instead, it's just beginning: we work side-by-side with educators and school leaders, helping them to implement our print and digital products in the lived reality of classrooms and schools, ultimately to make a difference for students.
Amplify is seeking an experienced education leader who will deliver high-quality professional development for our school and district partners and coach a regional cohort of Professional Learning Specialists (PLSs) so that they are prepared to do the same. The Lead PLS will hire, onboard and provide regular development opportunities for PLSs to successfully achieve performance targets and ensure high customer satisfaction with our training sessions. They will also establish and implement thoughtful development and performance related systems so that the PLSs in a region experience continuous growth, engagement and fulfillment.
Location: Regional and national in-person session delivery is required. States include TX, AR, NM
All Lead Professional Learning Specialists must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Currently, wearing masks and following social distancing guidelines are at the discretion of session participants and the Lead Professional Learning Specialist (unless a school partner requests for all in attendance to wear masks).

  • Communicate key trends in post-session survey data to Amplify's PD leaders and executive leaders
  • Create and implement targeted learning plans for individual PLSs and the regional cohort that will align with the latest key trends in post-session survey data, respond to customer feedback and include coaching best practices (ex. observation and debrief, modeling, peer practices, written and live feedback, etc.)
  • Maintain clear up-to-date information about individual PLSs' and the regional PLS cohort's needs, goals and challenges
  • Be available to PLSs when they have questions related to session delivery, want to debrief a training or need additional support in maintaining trust and successfully managing customer relationships (ex. joining customer conversations to better understand their needs and goals or conducting mock customer conversations)
