As the Lead Deskside Support Technician, you will be responsible for supporting and troubleshooting the GXO end-user environment, and for executing device lifecycle management activities, including provisioning, fulfilling, deploying, supporting and dispositioning assets. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Provide technical expertise and advice to Level I and II deskside technicians
  • Act as the go-to technical expert, providing answers through experience, research or collaboration
  • Provide troubleshooting and resolution of Tier 2 and 3 escalated technical issues
  • Use SCCM, Powershell, Active Directory and other diagnostic and remediation utilities to identify, diagnose and correct issues
  • Support, troubleshoot and train end users on Microsoft Office applications including O365 email and Outlook
  • Execute duties through rotational services of deskside visits, phone troubleshooting, walk-in center and tech depot fulfillment center
  • Support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, thin clients, print services, telephony, AV equipment, etc.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4 years of experience supporting a corporate networked computer environment and networked systems
  • Advanced ability to troubleshoot and configure iPads, Windows tablets and Android tablets
  • Advanced experience with printer troubleshooting and configuration, including multifunction, laser, fax, barcode label, dot matrix and high-volume scanners
  • Advanced ability to set up, troubleshoot and configure iPhones

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Associate degree, Bachelor's degree or equivalent vocational training
  • 7 years of experience installing, troubleshooting and supporting corporate AV equipment, as well as building, deploying and troubleshooting desktop computers in a corporate environment working with Microsoft Windows OS, Active Directory and SCCM
  • 7 years of experience supporting telephony equipment
  • Ability to interact with AV equipment vendors and manage warranty returns
