PRIMARY FUNCTION: Incumbent works under the direction of the Juvenile Assessment Center Director, the incumbent performs professional juvenile justice work in a department providing front-end assessment, referral and case management service to juvenile offenders and those at risk of offending. This position involves direct contact with parents, counselors, lawyers and other professionals regarding youth and families in need of community juvenile service intervention.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree* from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Human Services or related field required. One year experience in juvenile justice, mental health, or a related field preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and own mode of transportation at the time of hire and throughout the course of employment. *Approved, related work experience required may be substituted for educational requirements beyond high school on a year-for-year basis.
