The Junior Salesforce Administrator will assist with the ongoing development and optimization of our Salesforce platform. The administrator will work cross functionally with multiple departments, including, but not limited to Sales, Marketing, and Services, enhance and support current usage, and promote new features and functionality. This role is will combine technical, analytical and administrator skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a system administrator for the Salesforce environment with 200+ users
  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
  • Work with Salesforce data feeds and other integrations
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
  • Work with management and other teams to support administrative, development, and change management activities
  • Assist training new users; growing the Salesforce skill set across the organization
  • Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements
  • Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details,
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and all upstream and downstream applications processes

EDUCATION DESIRED:

Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate degree and relevant work experience.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Minimum two years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator (ADM201)
  • ETL utilizing Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, Excel
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
  • Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality
  • Strong data management abilities
  • A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
  • Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred

HIGHLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES - Any of the following would be a plus:

  • Salesforce Certifications: Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, and/or Platform App Developer
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification (ADM211)
  • Advanced Data Analysis skills, such as Python and pandas.
  • Trailhead Superbadges (3 or more):
    • App Customization Specialist
    • Billing Specialist (CPQ)
    • Business Administration Specialist
    • Lightning Reports and Dashboards Specialist
    • Process Automation Specialist
    • Security Specialist
    • Service Cloud Specialist
