Position Mission:

Iteration Management at Genine Parts Company is an important part o the company29s adoption o an Agile and DevOps cltre. The Iteration Manager is a servant leader or their respective development team. The sccessl candidate has a passion or Continos Improvement and has experience acilitating the agile ceremonies or their respective team. This person will help the team cltivate a cltre o learning and growth with a ocs on metrics, the lean vale stream, and qality as well as speed and eiciency. The ideal candidate will have experience in DevOps and Agile environments.

Minimm Qaliications:

  • Bachelor's degree in bsiness administration (sotware development-related), compter science, or a related discipline with an inormation technology ocs
  • 3+ years o Iteration Manager or Agile Project Management experience
  • Otstanding organizational, commnication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to drive isses to closre
  • Proven experience in a large enterprise environment with mltiple development teams
  • Experience working with Kanban and Lean principles a major pls
  • Experience with relative agile estimation (no-estimates orecasting or Monte Carlo experience is a pls)
  • Experience with sotware development lie cycles (SDLC)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • lexible and able to learn qickly in a dynamic environment
  • Experience working with third party development and inrastrctre sppliers
  • Demonstrated knowledge o varios technologies inclding applications, databases, networking, telecommnications, and connectivity
  • Prior technical and application development experience is desirable

  • Responsibilities:

    The primary dties and responsibilities o the Iteration Manager are listed, bt not limited to the ollowing:

  • Organize/acilitate/oversee Agile ceremonies (daily standp(s), iteration/release planning, story kickos, showcases, retrospectives, etc.) or assigned development team(s) inclding reslting action items
  • Coach project team members in Agile vales, principles, and practices.
  • Coach sel-organization, cross-nctionality, and project delivery.
  • Deine and manage agile metrics or the team to aid in the team29s continos improvement.
  • acilitates the investigation and resoltion o prodction isses inclding acilitation o Root Case Analysis and Post-Mortem meetings.
  • Manages and acilitates releases and prodction deployments.
  • acilitates long term planning or the team.
  • Assists team in managing dependencies on other teams (internal or external)
  • Promote Agile practices where Agile has not yet been lly adopted and nderstood across the organization.
  • Ensre accracy o priority, content, and stats o all story cards are managed and maintained.
  • Ensres that backlog reinement is occrring dring which prioritization and estimation are completed.
  • Stay in constant contact with other key personnel inclding bt not limited to Project Management and Prodct Owners to ensre the highest priority items remain the primary ocs.
  • Remove blockers to the project team progress.
  • Shield the project team rom nnecessary distractions and intererences.
  • Keeps Project Management and Prodct Owners inormed o the project team stats and isses especially when the isses concern scope and time.
