THE PURPOSE:

 Slickdeals is the nation's largest and most trusted deal-sharing community, with 11 million unique visitors per month. To support our rapid growth, Slickdeals is looking for a versatile IT Systems Engineer who will primarily focus on our initiatives around employee technology - IT Specialist track.

To be successful in this role, you need to have experience automating solutions in a hybrid technology environment with Windows/macOS. You will be an integral part of the Service Desk and work closely with Product, Finance, Development, Business, and other external teams that utilize internal Information Technology resources at Slickdeals. You will work hand in hand with the IT team to eventually become a stake owner in supporting our employee technology.

THE ROLE:

•   Implement and support all Corporate IT initiatives surrounding employee technology
•   Maintain excellence and high standards for the Service Desk
•   Advanced MDM administration and subject matter expert for Windows Server, Azure Technologies, Google Suite, Intune, and JAMF
•   Work independently by owning, prioritizing, and communicating issues
•   Automation with PowerShell or Python and or Bash
•   Perform deep-dive troubleshooting and remediation for critical systems and corporate IT networks and computers
•   Assist with lifecycle management, inventory, user provisioning/de-provisioning for all IT equipment
•   Occasional out of state travel to complete IT projects in our Los Angeles office
•   On-call/off-hours maintenance as needed and other duties as assigned

THE CANDIDATE:

•   Manages all customer service requests seriously with a positive demeanor
•   Works with all team members and solve problems no matter the issue or request
•   You have a team-oriented mindset and embrace a mentorship role for all team members
•   Ability to be hands-on when necessary and assist with physical related tasks, lift up to 50lbs, and or crawl under desks or in tight spaces
•   Knows when and how to seek outside support vendors and keep team members informed
•   Can handle stressful situations and maintain flexibility in a day-to-day IT Operations role

 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

•   4 or more years of professional experience in a similar role with a scripting focus (must have a Github with available examples)
•   Automation with at least Python, Bash, or PowerShell
•   Experience with JAMF, Okta, and Intune
•   Strong experience with Okta SSO integrations
•   Expert level troubleshooting with Mac OS/JAMF, Windows, networking, SaaS

 PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

•   Deep level knowledge of Azure s it pertains to Windows/MDM with Intune
•   Working and practical knowledge of VMware, Storage, Network, Database, and IT Security
•   Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate 2016/multi-domain experience
•   Project Management: Familiar with Kanban, Scrum, or ITIL Methodologies
•   Networking: CCNA or CCNP level of network experience/and or certification
•   Security: Advanced Okta integrations with SCIM
•   SIEM technologies / Windows ATP
•   IT Facilities/Datacenter experience
•   Atlassian Stack: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket administration
