Job Summary:
Own the onboarding experience as we tackle massive growth at Ruggable. Help resolve and escalate help desk tickets and support issues around our corporate offices and warehouses. Monitor computer systems and network to optimize our VM environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the help desk queue escalating tickets when necessary
- Execute the new hire onboarding process to ensure that team members are set up to succeed with technology on their first day (e.g., laptop provisioning, workstation set up)
- Provisioning accounts for new users
- Monitoring and troubleshooting computer systems and networks.
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, printers and scanners
- Repairing and replacing computer equipment as necessary
- Provides escalated support on and off hours as it relates to job responsibilities.
- Provide support to existing team members to deliver a seamless, productive experience
- Occasionally provide remote support to end users who are working from home.
- Provide support for multiple facilities and campuses
What You’ll Need to Have:
Required:
- Experience working in Windows and Mac environments
- Ability to work on new and interesting issues while maintaining daily operations
- Able to research issues independently
- Communicate technical issues comprehensively to a non-technical crowd
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Excellent people and project management skills
- Scrappiness and resourcefulness, so you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty and tackle problems
Preferred:
- 3+ years working experience in IT
- Experience working in a mixed Unix/Windows/ environment
- Basic understanding of network configurations, IP addressing, networking concepts
- Experience utilizing RMM tools, Zoho, TeamViewer, N-Able
- Bettercloud experience
- Meraki
- Ability to manage users and accesses through Active Directory, GSuite, and Slack
- Basic knowledge of (1) scripting language (Powershell, bash, etc.)
- Capable of independently handling an outage or critical issue without oversight
- Experience in a fast-growing organization
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
