ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our growing IT Team. 

You will work with a talented worldwide team who are pushing the envelope with exciting technologies, and a team that is incredibly receptive to new ideas.

You will be focusing on our Employee Onboarding process, and help us ramp up new hires, with some of your time spent in our ticketing system supporting users. This role initially will be primarily remote, with potentially some travel to our office required for dropping off or picking up equipment (perhaps 1x per week, some weeks with no travel to the office). As local regulations change, you may be required to have an in-office presence as well. You’ll also need to be comfortable keeping equipment at your home (up to 20 laptops).

This is not a fully remote role. At BlueVine, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, which we believe is best maintained through in-person interactions and a vibrant office environment.  All of our offices will reopen in accordance with local guidelines, and will follow a hybrid model.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Work closely with and support local and remote employees with tech needs
  • Assist in managing our Employee Onboarding volume, including setting up SaaS accounts, ordering equipment, setting up laptops, as well as some ticket work. 
  • Assist in our Employee Offboarding process, closing accounts and configuring mail forwarding, etc. 
  • Assist our IT and Security teams on auditing user accounts and validating employees have the access that they need. 
  • Support our IT team by processing helpdesk tickets, troubleshooting issues with end users, providing users accessories, etc. 

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • 2+ years Experience providing IT Support to employees (Startup experience is a bonus)
  • 2+ years Experience supporting Mac and Windows systems (OS issues, updates, encryption, reading crash logs, system setup, etc)
  • 1+ year Experience supporting Video Conferencing and Phone Systems (Dialpad, Zoom, Google Meet)  
  • Friendly and flexible - you will be the face of IT Support for our SLC office
  • Proactive and eager to provide support
  • Approachable and able to convey IT Topics in layman's terms - this is a diverse environment with non-technical members

Nice to Haves

  • Experience working with remote teams in multiple offices
  • Powershell or MacOS Scripting experience
  • Corporate Networking experience (Meraki or similar)
