Conduct strategic sourcing negotiations based on the Procurement 7 steps sourcing process, to maximize total cost of ownership, considering the high quality and technical standards, providing savings and procurement value contribution to Bunge business.

Senior Manager IT procurement activities (end to end), managing internal stakeholders, local and global suppliers, execute competitive biddings, enforce / govern procurement policies and procedures, global supplier governance for all IT contract through Supplier Governance & relationship management.

Core Functions:

Participate at Strategic Plan for IT categories

  • Collaborate to the strategic and long-term view of procurement in identifying and developing innovative sources and contractual arrangements
  • Analyze and set category spend baseline and category profile, incl. risk assessment, SRM- and P2P strategy
  • Build Sub-Categories specific strategic plan in alignment with the countries (Stakeholders), incl. resource plan
  • Align strategic plan to financial budget



Lead contract implementation and drive contract compliance for Area categories

  • Execute the strategic plan per sub-category, conducing RFX and the use of E-sourcing tools
  • Work in close collaboration with business stakeholders in order to ensure Area acceptance of new contracts
  • Coordinate contract implementation tasks
  • Closely monitor internal customers contract compliance; define and take approved corrective actions to improve contract compliance
  • Perfect use of strategic sourcing processes, leading practices and creative thinking within the functional category network



Monitor the IT category end-to-end procurement cycle

  • Act as single point of contact for the business to ensure business requirements are met
  • Work with the business stakeholders for actions related to supplier base optimization, KPI implementation, supply chain optimization and follow up, etc.
  • Conduce spend map analysis to monitor spend and ensure that all purchases follow the purchasing process
  • Provide KPI's to business on cost breakdown and Market assumptions
  • Report and Track forecasted vs actual savings for regional categories in scope: define corrective/optimization actions if needed and follow up on them (escalate to category board if needed)
  • Through active execution in 7-step sourcing process ensure that process is followed as defined.



Coordinate supplier relationships for Sub-Categories

  • In line with defined procurement strategy, support the classification and categorization of suppliers, including definition of supplier evaluation and audit policies
  • Continuously track supplier performance (utilizing data / reports provided by Sourcing Analyst)
  • Lead supplier development activities; set up cross functional review meetings with suppliers in order to improve performance and further reduce cost
  • Initiate and conduct supplier audits
  • Identify potential contract improvement opportunities & re-negotiations



Support internal customer relationships for Area categories

  • Manage stakeholders in IT (global and regional CIOs and their directs), finance, legal, procurement and BBA organizations. This includes manage high degree of engagement, collaborate and communication through extended value and knowledge.
  • Proactively act over internal customers feedback on procurement organization and supplier performance
  • Conduct periodic surveys to measure customer feedback for continuous improvement
  • Within the framework of the cross functional sourcing and supplier development teams, closely develop and manage the relationship with internal customers
  • Proactively organize sessions with internal customers to identify further TCO reduction opportunities
  • Improve and reinforce procurement's profile and recognition within the internal customer community



Supplier Management & Governance services

  • Identify large strategic contracts to be governed through centralized contract / supplier governance process
  • Design, develop and implementation such governance process for identified contracts / suppliers
  • Coordinate and support contract and commercial analysts from shared services in India
  • Support Bunge Supplier relationship management program
  • Conduct supplier performance and governance reviews



Skill/Experience Requirements:

  • 15 plus years of work experience in IT, procurement and supplier governance roles
  • 8 plus years of experience in IT vendor management / procurement roles
  • Working knowledge of catalogues and marketplace solutions (such as Coupa, etc.)
  • Working experience across multiple countries - remotely or in person working experience
  • Experience in Supplier Governance processes
  • Minimum Education Qualification - e.g. Engineering Graduation; MBA a plus
  • Experience in managing people and processes through a sustained period of change
  • Ability to provide high quality customer service for end-to-end IT Supplier governance area
  • Ability to partner with IT, procurement, finance, legal and BBS stakeholders
  • Strong negotiations skills
  • Strong written & oral communications skills in English. Knowledge of European languages added advantage.
  • Strong problem solving & organization skills
  • Excellent computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Working with Global teams
