About the Role:
GoodRx is looking for a IT Security Specialist to keep information safe and eliminate risks across our corporate networks and internal systems. This individual will collaborate with GoodRx’s Lead Security Engineers and IT Systems Engineers to ensure our services, networks, and computers are well vetted and maintained. The IT Security Specialist will be technically savvy, a strong multitasker, and be one step ahead to ensure consistent coverage and eliminate any room for vulnerabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Performs risk analysis at GoodRx locations to identify internal and external threats.
- Provides security systems technology support with regards to the installation and maintenance of security technologies and tools.
- Maintains corporate security procedures and develops and provides regular security training.
- Plans, coordinates, and conducts investigations of alleged and suspected computer crimes.
- Fosters security vendor relationships to ensure effective and efficient supplier performance results.
- Works independently to ensure goals set by leadership are reached.
- Triages and remediates security reports
- Develops security related training and education for GoodRx management and employees.
- Maintains all required business controls elements of the security program and participates in the audit process for assigned areas of responsibility.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- At least 3 to 5 years experience in corporate security
- Experience with physical security technology, contract security management, risk assessment & analysis, emergency preparedness, and investigations/incident management.
- Solid understanding of zero trust
- Communication skills in a customer facing environment
- Experience with Crowdstrike is a big plus
- Experience with Otka, Duo, and Active Directory is a plus
- Experience with Palo Alto networks is a plus
- Readiness to travel if needed
