About the team
FIS Cyber Defense employs advance event correlation techniques using the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform to detect internal or external cyber security related threats to prevent risks to FIS and FIS's customer's information system. The team consists of highly professional engineers and analysts spread across US, UK & India to provide support for the SIEM platform and deployment. With the continuous growth of FIS IT infrastructure, it creates a unique and constantly changing environment to Cyber Security Professionals and gives them great learning opportunity for ever changing tools and threat landscape.
What you will be doing
As a Manager, you will assist leaders and clients with the identification and evaluation of holistic security gaps with focus on the infrastructure and business application layer. Build enterprise level strategy for deploying Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, evaluate SIEM solutions for customers and be responsible for the enterprise SIEM globally for FIS. SEIM (Security Events and Information Management) Team tasks include but are not limited to the following key responsibilities:

  • Security Events and Logs monitoring, analysis, and optimization.
  • Develop a comprehensive SIEM and Analytics architecture to support real-time security monitoring operations.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of clients, follow methodologies, and create/present clear, concise deliverables.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise with infrastructure architecture design/implementation and management.
  • Meet target deadlines for SIEM related projects.
  • Experience with SIEM and log management products: Q-Radar, Splunk, or other leading SIEM products.
  • Plan for system/platform upgrade for a global SIEM solution.
  • Monitor capacity requirement to project scalability requirements for SIEM in advance.
  • Collaborate with supporting verticals and functional teams across FIS international regions to build a support model for a globally distributed SIEM architecture.
  • Should be able to understand security compliance requirements such as PCI and ISO27001 from SIEM perspective.
  • Strong knowledge on integrating multiple IT platforms and logging to SIEM.
  • Able to manage a large team and members spread across the globe.
  • Work with the internal and external auditors to assist in compliance assessment for the SIEM platform and associated processes.


What you bring

  • 4-5 Years of experience with ITSM
  • 4-5 years of hands-on experience with a SIEM platform.
  • Experience with managing a team of 5-10 engineers or analysts.
  • Sound knowledge and experience with PCI, GDPR and ISO27001


Added bonus if you have

  • Certificates such as CISSP, Security+ etc are preferred
  • Splunk Architecture Certificate
