We are seeking an IT Manager to join our IT organization in Wichita (KS), Houston (TX), or Atlanta (GA). The IT Manager is responsible for leading a team that will drive the implementation of our current efforts to modernize our MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) application platform. This role will work with stakeholders to transform technology related to our manufacturing processes and will be accountable for maximizing the value of the technology that supports the Operations organization's strategic goals by driving innovation through MES product development.

This role will be responsible for the development and professional growth of the team. The IT Manager will set the long-term vision and strategy for technology aligned with achieving the Operations team's vision, being able to communicate and drive this strategy with relevant stakeholders. This role offers growth potential for a strategically focused professional with a passion for driving innovation. In this role you will collaborate with our geographically distributed business teams to align technology solutions with MES optimization strategies for INVISTA.
What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Leadership - Develop a team of skilled resources applying MBM® guiding principles, ensuring professional growth & technical expertise advancement. Act as the lead for a cross functional team of motivated product and technical experts in the manufacturing domain. The team will consist of 6 to 8 resources.
  • Enable Virtuous Cycles of Mutual Benefit - Drive strategy alignment through effective collaboration with your business partners, understanding and profitably removing barriers that inhibit progress towards achieving our vision. You will co-create the MES product vision and strategy with business partners in collaboration with IT Partners, and external vendors to drive a value-adding point of view to help continuously improve MES processes & solutions.
  • Roadmap Execution - Identify and integrate business partners' long-range plans into business capability roadmaps; create transparency to the prioritization and road mapping process, delivering measurable results

A Day in the Life

  • Lead and develop a team of analysts who are working in a product focused area within the Operations capability
  • Drive the technology vision in collaboration with project owners and within the IT organization
  • Ensure engagement & collaboration between IT, business/capability teams and stakeholders so that all are aligned on priorities, expectations, & execution as a team
  • Lead an organization striving for continuous improvement
  • Influence decisions regarding modernization strategies
  • Collaborate with business leadership to establish the INVISTA manufacturing roadmap
  • Build and foster relationships across the Operations and IT organizations, including with executive and senior leadership
  • Work with Key 3rdparty partners to deliver a transformative manufacturing platform



The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience
  • Experience working with stakeholders
  • Experience with vendor management
  • Willing to travel up to 10% - domestic (international) other INVISTA
