Job Description

In addition, this team is responsible for remediating all security incidents identified by the CIRT team as well as all vulnerabilities and findings from continuous and periodic security scanning tools and pen-test engagements. As we embrace the separation of duties, this team will be a critical check and balance that executes changes in the environment developed by other cybersecurity teams and thereby ensures changes are appropriate and don’t introduce additional risk.

As the IT Manager, Identity & Access Management, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

  • Perform requirements analysis, develop strategy, design, manage implementation, and develop processes for all in-scope applications
  • Supervision and development of staff on multiple projects, business development, and communications with executives

  • Demonstrate your ability to extend your extensive experience working with an Identity Management suite of products (SailPoint, ForgeRock, Ping, Okta, CyberArk, Oracle, CA) and intimate knowledge of their design and implementation to apply to existing and planned infrastructure at Brightspeed
  • Governance of all processes that interact with financial systems and extensive knowledge of SOX compliance, populations, samples, attestations, acceptable documentation, approval workflows and matrices, and extreme attention to detail
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of large and complex data
  • Provide hands-on support for agile development methodologies and Dev(Sec)Ops tools (Github/GitLab, Jenkins, AWS Code Deploy, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, etc.) to enable continuous development/integration model
  • Provide hands-on support and design skills for public cloud environments (e.g. GCP, Azure) and develop IAM solutions for and in the cloud
  • Manage a team and/or workstream on projects, day-to-day operations, and incident management
  • Take functional ownership of all IAM applications/platforms
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24x7 support for our business

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security, or a directly related field. Education requirements may be replaced with previous related work experience and cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, Security+, CEH, Azure Security Engineer, etc.)
  • At least one certification from an industry-recognized IAM product or certification body
  • 10+ years of verifiable experience working as an individual contributor in an IAM related role
  • 5+ years in a senior level, architect, or management role relating to IAM
  • Strong understanding of the full lifecycle of workforce identity lifecycle processes such as joiner, mover, leaver, access request, access certification, role designation/management and application on-boarding
