About this role

Faire is looking for an IT Logistics Lead to join our IT team. You’ll be responsible for the procurement and logistics of technology equipment for new and existing employees globally, and will be the primary point of contact for all technology purchasing. This is a highly cross-functional role that will work with every team across the organization, with a focus on optimizing employee experience through world-class product sourcing, procurement, and logistics. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about the latest technologies, is a self-starter, has a keen attention to detail, thrives on thinking creatively, and is eager to learn and grow with us!

What you’ll do 

  • Manage all aspects of the Procurement relationship in cross-functional collaboration with business functional units and the Finance and Accounting teams
  • Anticipate demand and evaluate and analyze trends at both the micro and macro levels to maximize purchase value as the company grows and scales
  • Recommend and implement industry-standard best practices in procurement, and develop and implement a comprehensive IT procurement strategy
  • Develop key performance indicators related to value and efficiency and regularly report improvements
  • Collaborate with IT, Engineering, and Platform teams to automate and integrate with our other services to reduce manual touchpoints and improve reporting and alerting functionality
  • Drive the review and approval of Master Service Agreements, Terms of Service, NDAs, and End User License Agreements with Faire’s Legal team
  • Process and service equipment requests from new hires located all over the world
  • Cultivate and deepen long-term, effective, and efficient professional relationships with vendors 
  • Manage complete inventory of all digital and physical assets across multiple locations
  • Perform regular audits of physical and digital inventory
  • Ship and deploy hardware to new hires regardless of location
  • Approach everything with a service-oriented mentality
  • Physically pack shipments when needed
  • Deliver notifications, updates, and alerts to partners involved in each transaction 
  • Create high-quality documentation for both colleagues and end users

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in IT or technology-related roles
  • 3-5 years experience in global procurement and vendor management
  • Experience within purchasing large quantities of technology hardware, software licenses, and SaaS subscriptions
  • Skilled in creating thorough documentation
  • Dedication to creating an amazing employee service experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and experience with audiences at all organizational levels
  • Collaborative and team oriented
  • Passion for technology, driven to keep up with the latest trends
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using enterprise procurement systems such as Coupa
  • Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems such as Zendesk
  • Previous experience building and scaling a procurement function
  • Technology-focused or Business degree or certifications
