We are looking for an IT Director who can take ownership of day-to-day IT Help Desk activities while simultaneously working to define and build an organization responsible for the smooth running of our computer systems and security within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. This role will own and supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company's computing and security needs.
The successful candidate will have proven professional experience managing teams in a remote environment, and a detailed knowledge of industry best practice processes with a focus on cloud applications.
Responsibilities

• Manage information technology and computer systems, including Windows & Mac OS
• Design, develop, implement and manage applications, policies, and procedures
• Ensure security of data across cloud systems
• Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
• Audit all existing applications and systems and establish a management plan
• Own corporate IT and Security policies and ensure compliance
• Complete periodic security reviews and provide users with best practices and training opportunities
• Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness

Requirements

• Proven working experience as an IT Director or relevant experience
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and of computer hardware/software systems
• Expertise in data governance, security, IT help desk operations
• Hands-on experience with managing a remote employee environment
• BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field
