Responsibilities
In this position you will be responsible for our Endpoint Management service, covering configuration management of Windows 10/11 and MacOS devices around the globe, ensuring compliance with security and hardening standards, while safeguarding end-user productivity. This area covers disciplines such as automated provisioning of new devices, seamless installation of software and security updates, design, and implementation of policies to ensure secure usage of the endpoints.
The IT Endpoint Engineer creates and tests the required processes and procedures to allow an efficient and consistent hardware and software deployment, including endpoints vulnerability remediation both at the OS and application level. You will be working closely with the other business units to ensure solutions are met or even exceeding business requirements. You will be expected to recommend, promote and leverage IT standards to minimize complexity, adhere with compliance and maximize security.
Specifics responsibilities include (but not limited to)

  • Design and implement overall Endpoint Management strategy (Hardware, software, licensing) including reporting and lifecycle management following inventory management and compliance best practices.
  • Configure, manage, troubleshoot, and optimize device management tools (Intune and JAMF), establishing policies and procedures for device management, including provisioning, de-provisioning, remote support, diagnosis, and troubleshooting.
  • Drive the continuous improvement following the fast-paced releases of new features.
  • Optimize Endpoint Management processes, such as provisioning of new endpoints (e.g., Autopilot or similar), OS updates, deployment of security patches, packaging, and delivery of third-party software, etc.
  • Act as last support line engineer (escalation engineer) and implementation engineer.
  • Manage relations with key internal and external stakeholders and communicate changes across the organization.
  • Establishes and maintains relevant documentation
  • Use script language and tools to automate operational activities, tasks, system builds and changes in the environment (PowerShell, Python, Ansible. Etc.)
  • Continuously improvement of the operations through monitoring, system performance metrics,
    proactive actions and automation
  • Creating all the necessary documentation for any changes in the environment or new technologies being introduced in the environment.
  • Incident and problem management
  • Operational support escalation and project execution
  • Maintain OLA and SLA agreements with other Business Units
  • Support ISO, SOC and FedRAMP compliance


Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 5 years of enterprise experience in working with Microsoft and Mac based solutions for Endpoint Management (SCCM, Intune and JAMF)
    • Proven experience with Microsoft Autopilot and/or Automated MacOS provisioning with JAMF
    • Excellent experience in dealing with Endpoint Management related services such as Azure AD, Active Directory, Office365, GPO Management, Windows Desktop/Server Operating Systems, and PowerShell
    • Proficient in software deployment, Phyton, Bash and PowerShell scripting languages
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Passion and accountability for which you will be responsible
  • Strong analytic, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong decision-making, prioritization and negotiation skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation and negotiation)
  • Strong ability to self-learn new technologies
  • Individual should be self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Must be able to work under pressure and project deadlines


Education

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, other technical disciplines or equivalent work experience.
