Job Description:

The L3Harris Corporate HQ is searching for an IT Customer Services Specialist to join our team in Rochester, NY. This is a mid-level position with opportunities to grow and learn new technologies.

This position will be building, configuring, troubleshooting, and integrating new and existing systems, both physical and virtual. Additionally, this will be supporting open network systems as well as in multiple secure/closed areas located in Rochester, NY.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to effectively communicate and work within a diverse management environment
• Responsible for the installation, repair, configuration , and preventative maintenance of end user computing devices
• Exhibits an understanding of business and engineering application configurations and integration with the end user computing device
• Troubleshoots core business components within the Microsoft Office Suite as well as other major business and engineering applications
• Performs hardware and software moves, adds , and changes
• Provides technical support in person or via remote management tools to troubleshoot software and hardware alerts and failures
• Ensures systems and related equipment are in working condition and performs upgrades as needed to maintain operational status
• Provides timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of end users to appropriate next level of technical support personnel in alignment with established service level agreements
• May require t ravel among multiple locations within the Rochester area
• May require transporting kit/parts up to 50 lbs
• Self-starting / Works under minimal direct supervision

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (IT, MIS, CIS, CS or equivalent) and a minimum of 4 years of experience, a 2-year post-secondary/AA Degree and 8 years prior experience, or a Graduate Degree with 2 years ' prior experience, Substitution of additional 4 relevant years of experience for stated education qualifications may be considered
• Active TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Directory or AD
• Group Policy experience
• CompTIA Security+, CISSP or any DoD 8570 IAT level I or higher approved certification
• Experience with configuration management and automation tools, such as SCCM , WSUS, PowerShell, etc.
