IT Business Partner (Business Relationship Manager)

• Business Relationship Manager's (BRM) see though the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for IT initiatives across business units within Blue Yonder

Scope:

The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) role serves as the strategic interface between IT and business units. A BRM will partner with the business unit leaders to collaborate in planning and prioritizing goals and initiatives and shape demand for IT products and services. BRM's will ensure that the potential business value from those products and services is defined, realized, optimized, and recognized. BRMs will link IT initiatives to business OKRs to ensure that IT is always executing on the highest priority projects.

• Break down the IT/Business Silos
• Bridge between "business speak" and "Tech speak"
• Enable bi-directional understanding of business strategy and IT strategy
• Engage Business Leaders in helping set IT Priorities

PLANNING

• BRMs contribute to strategic business unit planning
• BRMs understand KPI identification and metrics
• BRMs build business cases with partners
• BRMs share approved business priorities with IT Product leaders
• BRMs are stakeholders alongside their partner business unit, evaluating and reevaluating ROI and Value Add

BUILDING

• BRMs attend steering committee/project status meetings and facilitate major scope changes with Project Manager and stakeholders as needed

EXECUTE/RUN

• BRMs facilitate and analyze Value Realization
• BRMs focus on areas for continuous improvement and share best practices across business units

What we are looking for: (Qualifications)

• Bachelor's Degree plus 3-5 years' experience in product development. Prior experience in Supply Chain, Software Development, or other Services industry
• Experience working with partners to ideate and define business features; prioritizing features based on business / customer value and feasibility, conducting product owner test validations
• Generally, understands the POV of LOB's in software development and GTM strategies and has experience collaborating with cross functional teams
