About the team
FIS Digital One suite of Solutions offers a truly omni channel banking experience for both customers and banker providing consistency across digital self-service and banker assisted channels.
Core product team who is working on enhancing banking product channel (Online banking, Account opening, banking branch solutions, etc. Additionally, work on client implementations for the core products.
What you will be doing
Work closely with customers, business analysts and team members to gather and analyze business requirements that drive the analysis and design of technical solutions.
Participate in the full systems life cycle including designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications software (20%). Support development of new code and reuse of existing code.
Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations.
Develop program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications (5%). Code, test, debug, document, implement, and maintain software applications.
Maintain, test, and integrate application components.
Ensure implementation of system improvements.
Analyze requirements and translates business requirements into product designs.
Write technical specifications documentation.
Develop, enhance, and maintain financial services software applications including eBanking products and develop software utilizing J2EE, .NET, Microsoft Visual Studio, JSON, JQuery, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS3, and AJAX.
Utilize responsive user interface design for desktop and mobile form factors.
Collaborate on development projects using Git and Jenkins.
Utilize database design technologies including Oracle and support software development lifecycle (SDLC) utilizing Scrum, Safe Agile, and waterfall methodologies.
Utilize Web Services, Window services, WCF, Web API, JQuery, JavaScript, JSON, XML, HTML, XSLT, XPath, Angular and HTML.
What you bring
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and nine (9) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: developing, enhancing, and maintaining financial services software applications including eBanking products; participating in the full systems life cycle including designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications software; developing software utilizing J2EE, Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET, JSON, JQuery, HTML,CSS3, Angular, Bootstrap, and AJAX; utilizing responsive user interface design for desktop and mobile form factors; collaborating on development projects using Git and Jenkins; utilizing database design technologies including Oracle; supporting software development lifecycle (SDLC) utilizing Scrum, Agile, and waterfall.
Alternativel, the employer will accept a Master's degree in the above listed fields and seven (7) years of experience in the above listed skills.
Added bonus if you have

  • Knowledge of FIS products and services; in-depth knowledge of products and services in assigned line(s) of business
  • Knowledge of financial services industry
  • Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, e.g., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development
  • Knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry, e.g., ISO, CMM, Six Sigma
  • Knowledge of banking practices, regulations, and operations within assigned line(s) of business
  • In-depth understanding of design patterns and their application
  • Fluency in developing and understanding sequence diagrams, class models, etc.
