About the role:
As an IT Architect Senior, you will be part of our retail digital payments architecture team supporting banking customers and work on modernization/product initiatives. You will be working in the online and mobile banking space.
What you will be doing:

• Documents and publishes appropriate architecture principles and standards, position papers, blueprints, best practices, patterns, and frameworks.
• Very hands on technical leadership role within the Agile trains, defines, constructs, supports and provides training for product development initiatives.
• Defines, builds, and maintains a library of functional component models within and across Digital Payments Product Lines
• Maintains a catalogue of reusable functional application components consumable across applications and product lines.
• Acts as a key reviewer of technical and tactical decisions.
• Communicates opportunities to leverage inter-project synergies, application and enterprise software or infrastructure asset re-use and opportunities to expose application assets for enterprise consumption.

What you bring:

• Five plus years working as an IT architect with demonstrated experience un application design or technical lead.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Post-graduate education desired.
• Systems and Solutions architecture expertise
• Knowledge of FIS products and services particularly in Digital payments software or banking software in general
• Systems and Solutions architectural expertise particularly in handling solution architecture for online banking and payment applications.
• Experience in building On-Line Transaction Processing (OLTP), batch and reporting systems
• Experience in building robust and scalable infrastructure architectures
