IT Advisor, Technology Consulting, Technology Solution Delivery, (SAP - Basis) (Manager) (Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Houston, TX.

Work with a team of technology professionals through all phases of the technology lifecycle, including requirements definition, architecture design, and conversion and testing on both internal and client-facing projects. Provide business development assistance, and as needed, manage project teams through agreed upon phases of SAP project governance, requirements definition, vendor selection, risk analysis, customization, testing and training. Develop and apply applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view, thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate EY in the SAP consulting market. Define and translate customer business requirements for enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems supporting SAP Business Modules into technical solutions. Provide technical leadership and individual contribution to the architecture and design of these solutions. Expand or modify systems to serve new purposes or improve workflow. Use technology in the analysis and solution of business problems, such as development of integrated production and inventory control and cost analysis systems.

Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Finance or Operations or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate advisory and/or consulting work experience. Alternatively, will accept a master's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Finance or Operations or a related field and 4 years of advisory and/or consulting work experience.

Must have 3 years of experience in designing infrastructure solutions for ERP applications including in a combination of the following: datacenter, cloud, network, servers, end-point connectivity, security, and/or resilience.

Must have 4 years of experience in SAP Basis experience managing SAP environments.

Must have 4 years of experience working with SAP in business operations, corporate finance or enterprise technology, with at least 1 year spent in a leader/managerial and IT/business integration role.

Must have 3 years of experience with common enterprise platforms and relational databases.

Must have experience with at least one full cycle implementation of SAP.

Requires travel up to 80% to serve client needs.
