Job Summary:

The IT Administrator will be responsible for providing tactical management of daily IT Operations.  This role is part of a team that operates as the primary support for our internal users and encompasses a diverse technology stack that includes: Google G-Suite, Cisco Meraki, Dropbox, Amazon AWS, Jumpcloud, BetterCloud, Zoom, Slack, Jitbit etc.  

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ownership and Support of full End user Compute technologies (PC, Mac, Mobile, Peripherals, Telephony)
  • Onboarding and Offboarding of IT equipment, assets and access
  • Drive efforts within IT for SOC Type 2 Compliance
  • G-Suite administration, both ongoing and migrations 
  • Administration of Identity/Directory services (Jumpcloud)
  • Meraki configuration and administration
  • Godaddy and Cloudflare administration
  • End user connectivity (LAN, Wi-fi)
  • Identify and drive automation of IT tasks
  • Administration of collaboration tools (Zoom, Slack, Google, Dropbox)
  • Manage IT asset inventory including maintenance, license and subscription renewals for 3rd party applications
  • Ownership of helpdesk tickets to ensure resolution of user issues and communication throughout the ticket lifecycle
  • Creates and maintains documentation of systems, operations guides, processes and procedures
  • Patch and Maintenance management through RMM 
  • Ensure adherence to all IT security policies
  • Other duties as necessary

Required Minimum Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

  • BS Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • One or more desired: CompTIA A+, ACMT, HDI-DST
  • G-suite Administrator desired

Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years of IT Support/Administration experience
  • Strong familiarity with Network administration (Meraki) including configuration and troubleshooting
  • Strong familiarity with Mac and Windows operating systems
  • Proficiency with MX records, SPF, DMARC 
  • Strong background managing G-suite Licenses and configurations
  • Strong background with Directory services (Active Directory or Directory as a service)
  • Experience with network configuration, support and maintenance for laptops
  • Working knowledge in VPN setup and maintenance a plus
  • Experience with domain providers such as Godaddy and working through C-Name / DNS changes 
  • Collaborative, team player
  • Speaks and writes clearly and articulately
  • Ability to prioritize and address tickets through high volume days

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

Stays abreast of industry trends.  Off-hours / Weekend coverage as necessary

This position may travel occasionally within the United States
