Integration Director - Job Description

As part of the Business Transformation and Integration (BTI) leadership team, this position leads the development and execution of integration strategies for acquisitions. The role provides expert advice and coaching to initiative leads and initiative teams to ensure the successful execution of integration projects. They facilitate the identification of timelines, dashboards, and financial scorecards for each integration to keep executive leaders current on progress and risks.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain integration strategies for the different types of integrations the company will leverage based on the level of targeted autonomy, functional integration, and technology leverage.
  • Develop and maintain the integration playbooks for each defined integration type.
  • Drive the strategy and execution for all company integrations including staffing, management, coordination, steering committee reporting, and communication.
  • Leads the development of detailed integration plans and resource requirements across all teams and stakeholders
  • Establish success criteria/objectives for each integration in alignment with each deal thesis.
  • Oversees the portfolio of integration projects
    • Guides project managers assigned to integration projects
    • Identifies and addresses integration risks and issues
    • Captures and prioritizes issues and drives effective resolutions. Resolve conflicts.
  • Builds strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders.
  • Maintains communications with stakeholders across the business, including reporting integration status, risks, and metrics.
  • Coordinates change management activities related to integrations with the Organization Change Management (OCM) leader.
  • Works in partnership with the OCM Leader and Process Leader to ensure integration projects follow the defined change management and business process excellence practices.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of the BTI roadmap in partnership with the rest of the BTI leadership team.
  • Consults and coaches' integration project teams regarding overall integration strategy, dependencies, and approach.

Job Qualifications:

  • Post-merger integration experience in two or more integration projects at a leader level
  • 5+ years' experience leading complex, enterprise-level programs with sizable process, change management, and technology components. Ideally, these were business integration programs.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Independent self-starter with a collaborative working style, strong work ethic, and flexibility to take on a wide range of roles and responsibilities
  • Sizable experience in matrix management across functions
  • Ability to influence and negotiate effectively with new partners and existing internal resources
  • Willingness to travel as required and work outside of normal business hours
  • Careful attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical capabilities
  • Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Team player able to influence others within the business and functional teams
  • Ability to work under tight timelines within a very dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in office and project management tools and experience working with ERP and CRM systems
  • Excellent people management/coaching skills

Preferences:

  • PMP designation or equivalent experience
  • Staffing Industry experience
  • Medical field or terminology background
  • Lifelong Learner
  • Comfortable in a remote environment
